Every once in a while, I get to photograph a wedding that feels like something straight out of a movie and this intimate reception at The Marble Room in Cleveland was exactly that. Think vintage glam meets modern luxury, with a healthy dose of high-roller energy.

The couple kept things cozy with a small guest list but went all in on the experience. Cocktail hour? Oh, it was in an actual vault. Yes, a real bank vault with those massive doors you’ve only seen in heist movies. There’s something kind of magical about sipping champagne in a space that once held stacks of cash and gold bars. It made the whole evening feel exclusive and luxe in the best way.

Right outside those dramatic vault doors, the reception setup kept the vibe going with candlelight, elegant florals, and those rich, moody tones that The Marble Room is known for. The space practically glows and as a photographer, it’s a dream to shoot in.

Instead of a traditional wedding cake, the couple opted for a gorgeous, artfully crafted pastry that honestly looked too pretty to eat. (Spoiler: It was delicious.) I love when couples make personal choices like this that reflect their style—whether it’s skipping a big cake or choosing a unique venue. These little details tell your story just as much as your vows do.

From the fashion-forward outfits to the refined menu and intimate vibe, this day was a beautiful reminder that small weddings can still be wildly stylish and memorable.
