I had the absolute joy of photographing this newlywed couple along the Avon shoreline, with Lake Erie glowing behind us. If you know me, you know Lake Erie ranks in my top five favorite things about Cleveland. It’s my calm place, my little slice of serenity in the city, and it’s a magical backdrop for capturing authentic moments between couples.

The day couldn’t have been more perfect: soft sunshine, a gentle breeze, and two newlyweds completely present with each other. There’s something about Lake Erie sessions, the combination of water, open sky, and natural light that creates dreamy, timeless photographs.
